In December 2007 three small cardboard boxes were found in Mexico City. These boxes contained 126 rolls of films which includes the Spanish civil war negatives taken by Robert Capa, Gerda Taro and Chim(David Seymour). There are also several portraits of Capa and Taro by Fred Stein. These negatives will be exhibited at the brother of Robert Capa, Cornell Capa's International Center of Photography from 24 September.
I saw some of these photos at a Capa exhibition I went to a couple of years ago. I can not be bored of his amazing photos anyway. I am sure The Mexican suitcase will come to London sometime, someday. I just need to wait till the day come....
